Peace and Values Education was chosen due to the importance of cultivating positive attitudes and values among Rwandans, including personal responsibility, pluralism, empathy, critical thinking, and action in order to build social cohesion. Teachers, parents, and young people have showcased positive changes in their homes, schools and communities after going through the Peace and values Education Programmes.
Jean Marie Vianney Mulamba is one of the educators who have been trained on Peace and Values Education. This story is about his journey to becoming a better educator and a role model to his/her colleagues and students.
