BACKGROUND
One Help One Direction Ihumure is a charity organization. It was founded in 2014 by the Rwandan Youth with 14 members, and has since committed to make advocacy and protecting the right of children in distress. One Help One Direction Ihumure is also working with children to build and sustain Peace. The vision of OHODIhumure is to create a peaceful world free of children in distress. Their mission is to revive vulnerable children’s hope for future through the promotion and protection of their rights.
One Help One Direction Ihumure strongly believes that peace the world needs today has to be motivated by compassion. Since 1994 significant effort have been made to rebuild society. Nevertheless there is still big number of vulnerable children. One Help One Direction Ihumure is actually operating in partnership with Gisimba Memorial Center to implement a development project titled Smile Sunday Program where they integrate street children in community, school and labour market. The intervention zone of this project is located in Nyarugenge District, in the sector of Rwezamenyo, as a residential and characteristically urban area where we find more children on the street. 
Their project is based on four different phases. Phase I, is to integrate the children in OHODI. Phase II is to identifying and counseling them. Phase III is to reintegrate the kids in the community and phase IV is for the children to sustainably enjoy the impact of the organization and what they have acquired in the  whole program. The expected impact is to reinforce community spirit about the resolution of social problems and to decrease the number of children’s presence on the street. Other areas of intervention include education, development, child’s protection, social life, expression and participation, and Health.
